Peyton met Henry at a speakeasy through their mutual friend, Jackie. In a charming full-circle moment, Peyton also introduced Jackie to one of her college friends, who is now engaged. The bride says, “We introduced each other to our husbands!”

For the proposal, Henry planned what seemed like a simple date night of dinner and drinks. On the way, he suggested stopping by Memorial Park, where Peyton discovered a floral-filled proposal spot and a photographer ready to capture the moment. After her heartfelt “yes”, the celebration continued over dinner with both families.

In June 2025, Peyton and Henry celebrated their black-and-white wedding at the Corinthian Houston. Peyton wore a custom Sareh Nouri gown with lace detailing and an oversized bow, creating an elegant look. Their ceremony was especially meaningful with Peyton’s brother serving as officiant, and the couple shared private vows during an intimate dinner before joining their guests.

Following cocktail hour in The Vault at Corinthian Houston, guests stepped into a reception designed with sweeping draping, large white florals, and thoughtful touches of black bows. Peyton’s favorite detail was the sparkle of disco balls incorporated throughout the celebration, from the floral arrangements to the drink stirrers.

A highlight of the evening was Peyton’s choreographed dance with her father, complete with his disco-ball jacket, which instantly energized the room. The celebration continued as the couple danced the night away surrounded by loved ones, including Henry’s family, who traveled from Austria. Rendered Moments added an unforgettable touch by live-painting the couple’s first dance, capturing the moment as it unfolded. The night came to a joyful close with frozen hurricanes and a lively second line that honored Peyton’s Louisiana roots.

For Peyton, the day’s true highlight was simple: “Being able to spend the most amount of time with Henry possible.”
