Erika and Steve first crossed paths while serving as active-duty military members stationed in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Erika worked as a physician, and Steve as an engineer. The couple later discovered they had received orders to the same base in England but were rerouted to New Mexico. “It was almost as if the universe was conspiring to bring us together,” the bride says.

On June 3, 2023, Erika and Steve wed with an intimate and romantic wedding ceremony. Erika walked down the aisle glowing in chic, natural, glam-inspired hair and makeup from Lilly Bridal Artistry. The couple’s color scheme was an array of hues from ballet pink to dark green.

After the ceremony, guests rode trollies to the Houston Museum District for the wedding reception. “This was a fun, picture-perfect method of transportation,” the bride says. The couple’s charming museum reception perfectly combines sophistication and the couple’s playful personality through their details, florals and lighting. Cakes by Gina created a stunning three-tier wedding cake decorated with white roses.

“We loved dancing under the dinosaurs and think our friends and family enjoyed it just as much as we did,” the bride says.
