Loriana and Stephan’s love story began the “old fashioned way” when they swiped right on a dating app. During a trip to Scottsdale, Arizona, the couple decided to meet briefly. Stephan arrived with flowers in hand, and their quick introduction turned into a night they never wanted to end.

After a two-and-a-half-year-long relationship, Stephan surprised Loriana with the most romantic proposal. Stephan was supposedly in New York for the weekend. That morning, she woke to find a New York City postcard and a private car waiting outside. When she stepped out, she found Stephan standing with a bouquet of peonies and her favorite Taylor Swift song playing softly in the background. He asked her to spend forever with him.

On May 17, 2025, the couple exchanged vows in a traditional Greek Orthodox Ceremony. “The biggest moment was the doors opening to the church and seeing each other,” the bride says. Following the ceremony, Loriana and Stephan released two white doves into the clear Houston sky.

The celebration at The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa featured lush blooms, cream and gold hues, and elegant details. Music by Scott Graham Piano set the tone during cocktail hour while the couple shared a quiet moment in private. “We could not believe we were finally married, and neither of us was getting on a flight to go home,” the bride says. After cutting into their six-tier white cake by Susie’s Cakes with a ceremonial sword, Loriana and Stephan danced the night away, ending the celebration on a sweet note with surprise cannoli bites.
