Ariana and Adil met on Hinge in New York City. Ariana lived in the city, while Adil was visiting from Houston for work. Their first date at a neighborhood coffee shop sparked an immediate connection, even after Ariana learned that Adil did not actually live in New York. The two made the most of the few days they had together, sharing meaningful conversations before Adil returned to Texas. In the months that followed, the couple nurtured their relationship through flights, calls and texts, embracing a long-distance relationship.

Adil proposed on February 17, 2024, in Austin, where both their families surprised Ariana to celebrate the newly engaged couple. The celebration continued with dinner at Ariana’s favorite restaurant. Following their engagement, Ariana moved from New York to Austin to be closer to her family and to Adil.

Before their Houston celebration, the couple hosted an intimate destination wedding in San Diego. On June 20, 2025, family and friends gathered at The Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston for an elegant reception to celebrate Ariana and Adil’s nuptials. Plants N’ Petals worked their magic and transformed the hotel’s ballroom into a floral masterpiece. A grand hanging floral installation floated above a monogrammed dance floor, with warm candlelight and fragrant blooms accenting the soft, romantic color palette. The night featured heartfelt speeches, a five-tier cake and a lively dance floor. The newlyweds began their life together with a European cruise through Italy and France.
