An Elegant Summer Wedding at a Texas Chic Ranch
Tori and Miles first met at Baylor University in their law school orientation, which later led to a series of dates that never ended. On Valentine’s Day in 2020, on a trip to a law school competition, Tori was walking the bustling streets of New York City with her classmates. Her flight was scheduled for later that day back to Waco, where Miles was waiting. However, her classmates and family had another plan in mind for her. Tori mindlessly followed the group of students on the way to a brunch spot which happened to be tucked near a stunning view of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan skyline, which lead to the perfect picture opportunity for the group. “Once I started going down the stairs, I saw Miles. I immediately started crying happy tears because I knew what would happen. He proposed down by the river with a gorgeous backdrop, and both of our families were there to see it,” says Tori. Winter Wonderland Wedding at Heather’s Glen
What happens when a Houston bride wants a winter wonderland wedding? She makes it happen! Kaylin took her ideas from Pinterest, created all of the decor herself and became the queen of DIY. “I cut down tallow trees from my mom’s property and spray painted all of them white and threw on epsom salts for some shimmer. I used 14 of them to line the chapel aisle so that it looked like I was walking through a winter wonderland,” she says. Favorite moment? “While I was walking down the aisle and saw Michael’s face…it made all the hard work worth it.” See all of our favorite DIY moments from Kaylin and Michael’s winter affair in the lovely photos below!

White, Ivory and Gold Persian Wedding by Kreative Angle Photography
WEDDINGS IN HOUSTON Spring 2015 | Real Wedding Feature
Farnaz & Amir ~ January 4, 2014
New to Houston while preparing for her wedding, bride Farnaz found planning her perfect day a bit of a challenge. But, with the help of close friend, she did her research—and created an event she’d never forget. The bride wed her groom, Amir, in a traditional Persian ceremony, attended by 100 of their closest friends and family, after which the newlyweds joined their guests for a Mediterranean feast, followed by dancing—lots and lots of dancing, which, the bride says, is her fondest memory of the big day. Award-winning Houston event-design firm Plants N’ Petals lent its fine floral talents to the black-tie affair, making a beautiful day even more beautiful.

Blush, Mint & Cream Vintage Wedding by Kreative Angle Photography
Vintage candleabras, lanterns, lace overlays, vintage vases, and a soft color palette of blush, mint, cream and lush greens are what defined Anna and George’s dreamy, vintage wedding. If you think the décor sounds to die for, wait ‘til you hear about the delish menu! The guests indulged in pistachio-crusted Redfish and New York strip au jus with horseradish cream (mmm) from Café Natalie. We hope you enjoy the beautiful photos from Anna and George’s wedding as much as we do. Thanks Kreative Angle Photography and congrats to the newlyweds!

Vintage Blush and Gold Wedding at Ashton Gardens
Houston bride Tera first met her prince charming right around the corner- literally. Tera and Shawn lived in the same neighborhood, attended the same schools, and shared mutual friends. It wasn’t until he came back home from the Air Force 11 years later that they reunited at their best friend’s wedding. Tera and Shawn hit it off and the rest was history. The lovebirds celebrated with 80 of their nearest and dearest at one of Houston’s most unique wedding venues- Ashton Gardens. The romantic chandeliers and color palette of blush, cream and gold set the tone for their vintage wedding. Congrats and well wishes to the newlyweds!
