Blush, Ivory & Pink Wedding at The Bell Tower on 34th

Evie was in Chicago, and Victor in Guatemala. How did the pair meet? It just so happens that Victor was her aunt’s neighbor in Guatamela. During her childhood, Evie spent many summers visiting her aunt, and eventually became friends with Victor. Their childhood friendship lead them to their first kiss at age 13 (aww). Unfortunately, Victor lost touch with Evie after he moved to Texas when he was 15. A few years later the young lovebirds reconnected, and made sure not to let each other go. One sweet summer night in Chicago (the night before her birthday), Evie and Victor ventured out to the pier on Lake Michigan to watch the Blood Moon. It caught her by surprise when Victor got down on one knee at midnight. You can guess what happened next!

The pair tied the knot at The Bell Tower on 34^th in front of 75 of their nearest and dearest. The room was filled with blush and peach roses, Casablanca lilies and garden roses, all of which set a romantic tone for their classic, intimate wedding celebration. We couldn’t help but wipe our tears after seeing the beautiful photos of this elegant Houston wedding, and are sure you will, too. Congrats and best wishes to the lovely couple!

White, Gold & Champagne Wedding at The Bell Tower on 34th

Sara and William went out one night as individual moral support to two of their dear friends—having no clue they would be the ones actually meeting their soulmate on that fateful evening. Sara still finds it surreal that the friends they’d chaperoned only dated for a couple of weeks…while she and William ended up getting married! Fast-forward to Easter weekend a few years later, when William accompanied Sara and her family on a fishing trip to Galveston. The couple remembers, “We had a blast spending time together, even though nobody caught a thing!” However, William had bigger plans in mind…he found the perfect opportunity to pull Sara’s dad aside, and asked for her hand in marriage. Her father was thrilled and of course gave his blessing! Later that night, Sara and William were on the balcony of their Galveston condo having a wonderful conversation about their relationship and how lucky they were to have found one another. Then William said, “Do you know what would make this better?” And he dropped to one knee, under the stars, and asked Sara to marry him. Sara couldn’t believe how perfect the moment was—just as she said, “Yes!” the moon cast a dreamy shadow on their balcony as if it was destiny. Sara and William said their vows with an elegant black-tie wedding at The Bell Tower on 34th, with an “all white, gold and champagne” palette, per Sara’s express wishes, and personalized touches everywhere. Sara’s DIY wedding favors and handmade wedding decor touches included stir sticks, coasters and koozies! You go, girl. Best wishes and cheers to the future, Sara and William!

Green, Merlot and Bronze Bell Tower Wedding by Carlino’s Photography

It was the summer between 8^th and 9^th grade. She played bass clarinet, he played tuba. And after spending months at band camp having her feet stepped upon by Erick in marching-band practice, Erin “knew there was something special about him,” she tells us with a smile. The two made it official earlier this year with an elegant but high-energy celebration at The Bell Tower on 34^th, a site the bride describes as “an absolutely gorgeous venue—it has so much to offer for a wedding.” She notes, “My ceremony was pretty traditional except for the music. I hired someone to sing and play an acoustic guitar for before and during the ceremony. My bridesmaids walked in to ‘Only Hope’ by Switchfoot, I walked in to ‘Angel’ by Casting Crowns, and our unity-candle song was ‘1,000 Years’ by Christina Perri.” More music—country, pop, classic standards and Spanish songs—filled the rustic-elegant reception, where guests dined on BBQ and buttercream-frosted cake, and danced the night away.
