Amanda and Danny first met more than a decade ago on a Westcoast Connection teen tour. They stayed close over the years, visiting each other whenever they could, and a teenage friendship grew into something more.

For the proposal, Danny created a moment that felt both intimate and unforgettable. He set up a lit “Marry Me” sign and flowers in Amanda’s backyard, while both of their parents watched, peeking through a window. Amanda was especially surprised to see Danny’s parents, who had flown in from Chicago to be part of the celebration.

On November 1, 2025, Amanda and Danny exchanged vows at The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa, becoming the first couple to marry in the hotel’s newly renovated Grande Ballroom. Their ceremony was beautiful and personal, featuring a chuppah dripping with pink florals and a seating arrangement that welcomed guests on both sides of the couple, creating a warm, intimate atmosphere.

A pink and brown palette was carried through the celebration. Bridesmaids wore different shades of brown, and the reception unfolded in a stunning display of pink florals. Soft, romantic lighting by Bright Star Productions filled the room, while a sweeping floral installation hung over the dance floor where the couple shared their first dance. Their elegant cake by Susie’s Cakes added a timeless touch. A favorite moment for the couple was the ballroom reveal. “Seeing the room for the first time was amazing,” Amanda says.

As the night came to a close, pink confetti rained down across the ballroom, ending the celebration on a joyful high. Amanda and Danny will honeymoon in Hawaii in the summer of 2026.
