Spring Garden Reception in Full Bloom at The Omni Houston

Amanda and Robert met in February 2023 on Hinge and unknowingly planned their first date on Valentine’s Day, a coincidence that made the moment even more memorable. When Amanda arrived, Robert greeted her with a glass of wine, and the two clicked instantly. As the evening came to a close, he surprised her with a bouquet. On the drive home, Amanda told her mother it was the best date ever.

Amanda grew up playing golf and eventually returned to work at the club where she spent so much of her childhood. Because golf is such an important part of her life, it felt perfectly fitting for Robert to incorporate it into the proposal. After meeting her at the club to play a round, he got down on one knee at the 17th hole and held out a custom golf ball that read, Will you marry me?”

Their June wedding weekend began with an elegant rehearsal dinner at the Manor House at The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa. The next day, Amanda and Robert exchanged vows in a church ceremony accented with soft pastel florals, and the bridesmaids wore sky-blue dresses that added a fresh pop of color. Amanda looked stunning in a strapless Anne Barge gown.

The celebration continued with a spring garden reception at the Omni Houston Hotel, where the ballroom was styled as a spring garden party with pastel hues, floral-printed linens, and a custom monogrammed dance floor. After an evening of celebrating, the couple shared a private last dance before making their grand exit through a cascade of streamers.
