Nour and Sami’s story began in a group chat with mutual friends, where a playful debate about the best way to cook potatoes sparked their first real conversation. That chat led to coffee and a tradition of trying a new coffee shop for every date. Sami followed traditional Middle Eastern customs and visited Nour’s family home and formally asked her parents for her hand in marriage.
On October 27, 2024, the couple married in The Woodlands, Texas. Their elegant wedding featured a soft palette of blush and ivory. Nour was radiant in head-to-toe sparkles, while Sami looked sharp in a navy suit. Plants N’ Petals transformed the space into a floral dream, with blush roses and baby’s breath woven throughout the room. Over the custom monogrammed dance floor, pink roses cascaded overhead, and dramatic centerpieces added romance to every table.
The celebration embraced the couple’s heritage with traditional Middle Eastern dances, while guests sipped coffee and danced late into the night. For Nour, the highlight of the day was their private last dance. “After a super long night (which kind of went by fast) and all the months of planning and stress, we finally got to just soak it all in and enjoy our last few moments in our venue to ourselves,” she says.
The night ended with a joyful bubble send-off as Nour and Sami stepped into their next chapter as newlyweds.
