When Adam took Hannah to the terrace of the Hilton Americas-Houston, she thought he’d brought her there to celebrate her freedom from the job she’d disliked and recently quit. But, at the elegant Downtown property, with the sunset skyline as their backdrop, he took her completely by surprise when instead of congratulating her on her liberating career move…he asked her to be his wife! After the big question, “Adam told me that my family was downstairs in the bar lounge waiting to celebrate with us,” Hannah recounts. “I was so happy. The whole experience was perfect. He did a fantastic job!” The couple’s classic white wedding was textured with touches of greenery, along with lush ivory floral arrangements and shimmering linens from Houston event designer Plants N’ Petals. “My favorite moment was when our 19-month-old niece ran up to us during our husband-and-wife dance,” Hannah says. “She got away from Mommy on accident, but it was a super cute moment that everyone gushed over!” Join us in gushing over Houston wedding photographer Blanca Duran’s gorgeous photos of this classic white wedding, and wishing Hannah & Adam all of our love, always. Paul caught Gillian’s eye from across the table during a mutual friend’s bon voyage party back in 2010. Unfortunately the pair didn’t exchange numbers that night, and Gillian went back to San Francisco for school. A few months later while she was home for Christmas break and hoping to find a date for New Year’s Eve. “During happy hour I mentioned my to my friend that she should have Paul get in touch with me. Three minutes later my phone rang, and it was Paul,” recounts Gillian. They immediately hit it off, and tied the knot six years later. Gillian walked down the aisle in style wearing a tea-length eyelet Oscar de la Renta dress from Joan Pillow Bridal Salon, and paired it with pink Manolo Blahnik pumps (major Carrie Bradshaw moment). “It was a playful dress that fit like a dream. When I saw it on the runway, I knew this was it,” adds Gillian. Paul and Gillian danced the night away with their family and friends, and made a true Texan move by stopping at Whataburger before attending the after party. Sounds like one fun night, right? Check out the sweet pics below. Congrats to the lovely couple!
