Jenny and Cameron’s college love story began on a lively St. Paddy’s Day at LSU. Drawn together as fellow Houstonians, the two became fast friends, frequently hunkering down in the library to study. After working up the courage, Cameron finally asked Jenny on a proper date. Twinkling lights, festive tunes, and the scent of fresh pine in the air can only mean one thing: the most magical time of the year has arrived in Houston!
Emily and Blake met in college through mutual friends. Both being college athletes at separate schools, the couple would alternate from season to season to see each other. Blake went to the University of Texas, where he played baseball, while Emily played volleyball at the University of Tulsa. After a delayed trip due to Covid in May of 2020, Blake was eager to pop the question to Emily. To Emily’s surprise, Blake planned an intimate and beautiful engagement at the park, where he brought in sand to make it feel as if they were on the tropical shores of Mexico.
We partied with them at Bering’s for their registry and stationery adventure, we chatted with them about their love story, and now we are excited to welcome Astro star reliever Ryan Pressly and former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Kat Rogers back to the blog…this time with their beautiful New Year’s Eve wedding!
