Jewel-Tone Art Deco Wedding by Civic Photos

Faye and Oussama were connected before they ever met—their families were long-time friends and the pair knew of each other but never spoke until the summer of 2013 when they both happened to be in Lebanon visiting family. “We ran into each other at the beach and instantly felt a connection. We spent the entire week together, and hit it off! Oussama and I ended up dating each other long distance for almost two years,” says Faye.

Faye gave us all the deets on how Oussama popped the question: “It was our two-year anniversary. After dinner, we went home, and once I walked in I noticed one of the rooms had lights strung all over the walls and candles everywhere. Oussama then handed me a Starbucks cup with my favorite coffee cup that said, ‘Will you marry me?’”

She wore a gorgeous strapless Maggie Sottero wedding dress from Weddings by Debbie, and her bridal party wore rose gold sequined dresses.

Favorite moments? “Our traditional Arab grand entrance to the reception. It was so special,” recounts Faye.

Lavender and Coral Wedding at Agave Estates

It was a normal shift for Jeremiah at the retail store he worked at until Melissa walked in. Melissa lost her keys and the nice guy that Jeremiah was, he decided to help. He spent an hour with Melissa trying to search the store for her keys. After they found them, Jeremiah jokingly told Melissa she owed him dinner. “I laughed it off and drove off… but it was a Saturday night and I was thinking, ‘I’m just going home to do nothing, what do I have to lose?’ So I called back and asked him to dinner. We went…and the rest is history,” says Melissa. We are sure you’ll instantly fall in love with their rustic-elegant wedding at Agave Estates, because we definitely did. Glamour, Glimmer and Shades at Charcoal Gray & Pale Pink Wedding at Dukessa

Phillip and Krisella first met in Austin at a mutual friend’s baby shower. “He was late and the first thing out of my mouth after we were properly introduced was, ‘Hi. You’re late (with my big signature smile).’ It worked because we never stopped seeing each other from that day forward!” After a year of being inseparable, Phillip and Krisella decided to tie the knot. Krisella wore a gorgeous Maggie Sottero gown from Weddings by Debbie with stunning stacked diamond bracelets and teardrop diamond earrings to complete her Old Hollywood glam look. The room was filled with romantic low lights, and rose, anemone and hydrangea flower arrangements. We could go on and on about how beautiful this Houston wedding was at Dukessa, but we want YOU to fall in love with the photos as much as we did. Congrats and best wishes to the lovely couple!

Beautiful Blush and Ivory Madera Estates Wedding by Ama Photography & Cinema

There’s a certain, special, sense-of-mystery romance that only online dating can create. Just ask recent bride Vanessa, who spoke by phone to eHarmony match Eric almost every day for THREE MONTHS before meeting him face-to-face. Luckily, their in-person meeting was just as romantic as those many, many phone calls, and almost two years to the day they first laid eyes on each other, the pair wed in front of 250 loved ones at a magnificent Madera Estates celebration. While Vanessa says that selecting her song list and making her seating chart were no piece of cake, the wedding itself was pure sweetness, done up in elegant shades of ivory and blush, Vanessa radiant in her Maggie Sottero gown from Brickhouse Bridal. Crystal Ballroom Summer Wedding with Vintage Touches

When you’re a school kid, a prank phone call often leads to getting busted. Almost never does it lead to getting…married—Christina and Kevin being the exception. “I went to an all-girls high school and Kevin went to an all-boys high school. My friends and I called Kevin during a sleepover and forgot to dial *67. Kevin texted my phone back the next day and we started texting back and forth, eventually met, and the rest it history!” And what a cute history it is. Knowing Christina’s passion for the Houston Astros, Kevin used the ruse of a Minute Maid Park tour to propose to his future Mrs., while his family hid out in the dugout taking pix of the whole shebang. The pair wed in a traditional Catholic Mass followed by a reception for 230 of their nearest and dearest at the historic Crystal Ballroom at The Rice, done up in seasonal shades of peach, light orange and yellow. Traditional wedding rituals abounded, including a formal reception line, a marriage dance, a money dance, and bouquet and garter tosses.
