So, when Jeremiah decided to pop the question with a dazzling engagement ring from I W Marks Jewelers, it was only natural that it was after a 10-mile run. “When I turned to look at him, he was down on one knee! It was such a blur! I remember taking the ring from him and putting it on my finger,” Elizabeth says.

Newly graduated from college and just starting their careers, Kellie says figuring out how to budget and plan her dream wedding to Jacob was no small challenge, but one she embraced fully. The couple’s church ceremony and fresh, fun, family-focused celebration at picturesque Waterpoint on Lake Conroe reflected their backgrounds, with table numbers corresponding to ages of their childhoods (table 5, for instance, displayed photos of Kellie and Jacob at age 5). The bride’s accessories included a bracelet made by Jacob’s grandmother and a pair of white flats decorated by her aunt with bits of lace from her Oleg Cassini bridal gown. The venue’s lovely lakefront vista made decor needs minimal (HEB Blooms supplied softly tousled flowers in shades of pink, blush and cream), and a candy buffet made the festivities just that much sweeter.
