Our I Do! Wedding Soiree always impresses, but this year it was on another level, y’all! We sold out every last ticket to the luxurious show, with wedding couples, bridesmaids and MOB’s lining up along our host The Corinthian’s grand staircases, eager to get a chance to meet, greet and mingle with the best of the best in Houston’s wedding business!

We can’t thank our guests enough for helping us celebrate Houston’s only luxury wedding event of the season! The gorgeous sights were complemented by sounds from all types of musical entertainers and DJ’s. LG Entertainment served as the MC for the night, while Danny Ray & The Acoustic Production, DJU Entertainment, Scott Graham Piano and Signature EvenTx kept the party going all around.

Patrons got a taste of some of Houston’s top caterers and bakers too at the I Do! Wedding Soiree. The Corinthian’s Jackson and Company served as the exclusive caterer of the event, spoiling guests with delectable food and drink pairings. Those with a sweet tooth also were able to satisfy their cravings with treats from Dessert Gallery Bakery + Cafe and Susie’s Cakes & Confections.

The ~~man~~ women with the plan were also in attendance. A Day To Remember, Bourbon & Lace Event Services, and Kat Creech Events learned more about our lovely wedding couples and offered guidance for all of wedding planning’s ups and downs. A Day To Remember also designed our awesome Groom’s Lounge, complete with Texas Mules, fresh guacamole and Jackson and Company’s Beef Poptarts.

Guests were also able to say hello to some of our favorite invitations and stationery boutiques in Houston — Isabella Invitations and Bering’s.

Bering’s along with Celebrity China & Cookware also showed off some of the most wanted registry items for wedding couples of any style.

It’s here…it’s finally here! We, and our incredible team of Houston wedding vendors and experts, have been hard at work creating a spectacular wedding planning experience for you, and this evening, at 6 p.m., we get to pull back the curtain on the magic!

Gorgeous wedding tablescapes, fabulous floral designs, interactive vendor exhibits, live music, exceptional food and drink from Jackson and Company catering, a strolling fashion show featuring bridal couture’s newest gowns…and the chance to take home hundreds of dollars worth of hand-picked luxury beauty, skincare, fashion, home and bridal goods? OH, YES. That’s the I Do! Wedding Soiree, darlings, and we can’t wait to see you there!

$25 advance ticket sales close in just a few hours, so get yours now; or, you may purchase tickets at the door for $30 (very limited availability).

Oh—and a few things to know before you go:

DO take public transportation to The Corinthian if possible; if you plan to park, we have complimentary garage parking (second entrance on Congress after Fannin), or valet for $15; opens at 6 p.m

DO bring your besties, your spouse-to-be, your family members and valued opinion-givers—the I Do! Wedding Soiree is an evening of fun, food, drink and beautiful displays everywhere you look!

DO bring your mobile device, and be prepared to Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat your favorite finds.

DO come dressed to impress—the I Do! Soiree is a luxury cocktail event, and business-stylish attire is part of the fun! Please, no shorts, tank tops or flip-flops.

DO stay for the full event—winners of our exclusive pre-show giveaways and on-site door prizes will be announced at the end of the show, and you must be present to claim your prize when it is announced.

Please DO NOT bring strollers, infants or anyone under the age of 16. The I Do! Wedding Soiree is an adult event, featuring delicate displays (and LOTS of them). We love little ones…but this is not an appropriate environment for them.

Lively Plum & Burgundy Hindu Wedding at The Corinthian

Asmita and Rishab kicked off the New Year with a marriage celebration that perfectly captured the couple’s exuberant personalities and Hindu culture. Asmita says it was their “shared love of music and dancing” that initially attracted her to Rishab, and vice versa, which they certainly expressed on their wedding day!

The night began with a lively sangeet, which Asmita says was “a very cool way to kick off the celebration, with killer dance performances by both sides of the family, mehndi artists and a selfie station.”

For their Hindu ceremony and reception celebration at The Corinthian, downtown Houston’s magnificent neoclassical event space, the couple selected a palette of bright plum and burgundy, brought to life with blooms by Darryl & Co. The couple’s 350 guests then enjoyed a wedding feast by renowned Jackson and Company catering, and later joined the newlyweds for a lavish party filled with live music and dancing that lasted until 1:30 a.m.
