Gold, Hot Pink & Black Wedding at Chateau Cocomar

Sometimes reconnecting with your high school boyfriend is a good thing—just ask Houston bride Codi. After graduating college and moving back home, Codi and Austin fell in love all over again and decided this time it was for forever. Codi brought a new meaning to true Houston glam when she wed Austin in a feather-accented Stephen Yearick gown from Brickhouse Bridal. Her vision of a glamorous, fairytale wedding came to life at Chateau Cocomar. “Instead of using the typical blush and white color palette, I added hot pink and black for a more unique look,” she says. Black sequin linens and mercury glass candle holders were just a couple of details that added a romantic yet glamorous look to the decor. We couldn’t help but swoon, and know you will, too, after seeing the lovely photos. Congrats and best wishes to the newlyweds!

Hot Pink & Black Wedding at Ashelynn Manor by A Lifetime of Memories Photography

It was one of those hot summer days in Lake Conroe when Megan and Joey first met, though it wasn’t until two years later when their paths crossed again. They’ve been inseparable ever since. Joey planned a sweet surprise proposal during their romantic vacation in Aruba while taking a stroll on the beach. “It was utterly romantic and a moment that I will never forget,” says bride Megan.  The pair celebrated their wedding with 250 of their nearest and dearest at picturesque  Ashelynn Manor, bringing in splashes of hot pink and chic black accents, to give the entire affair a glamorous edge. “I couldn’t imagine my dream wedding being anymore perfect than it was,” the bride says. “I married my best friend and can’t wait to see what our life journey has in store for us.” Thanks to A Lifetime of Memories Photography for the lovely photos and happiest wishes to the newlyweds!

Fun, Festive, Fabulous Indian-American Wedding

“With you, things are the way they should be, and I would like to continue that forever.” Was a simpler or lovelier proposal statement ever spoken? Sigh. California-raised Jack wed Texan Nisha this summer, blessing his mom—finally!—with a daughter, after four sons. The pair’s 400-guest celebration, with its Indian and American influences (saris, mandap, cake balls, cocktails) was a feast not only for the palate, but for the eyes, thanks to Darryl & Co., who did up Bayou City Event Center in a swank wedding color scheme of black-and-white stripes with vibrant hot-pink and purple floral arrangements, gold accents and amber lighting. Just looking at Biyani Photography’s photos makes us wish we were at this incredibly fun and gorgeous Houston wedding. Thank you for sharing your special day, Nisha and Jack—we are so happy for you!
