When Adam took Hannah to the terrace of the Hilton Americas-Houston, she thought he’d brought her there to celebrate her freedom from the job she’d disliked and recently quit. But, at the elegant Downtown property, with the sunset skyline as their backdrop, he took her completely by surprise when instead of congratulating her on her liberating career move…he asked her to be his wife! After the big question, “Adam told me that my family was downstairs in the bar lounge waiting to celebrate with us,” Hannah recounts. “I was so happy. The whole experience was perfect. He did a fantastic job!” The couple’s classic white wedding was textured with touches of greenery, along with lush ivory floral arrangements and shimmering linens from Houston event designer Plants N’ Petals. “My favorite moment was when our 19-month-old niece ran up to us during our husband-and-wife dance,” Hannah says. “She got away from Mommy on accident, but it was a super cute moment that everyone gushed over!” Join us in gushing over Houston wedding photographer Blanca Duran’s gorgeous photos of this classic white wedding, and wishing Hannah & Adam all of our love, always. Vewiser, who met Tiesha while the two were attending Lamar University, used a trip to Disney World to set the backdrop for his creative proposal. On New Year’s Day, after a visit to the Florida theme park, Vewiser presented his beloved with a photo album filled with pics from their trip…with one very special addition on the last page: a photo of an engagement ring. “He immediately got down on one knee and expressed his love for me, and how our love has grown over the years,” notes the bride. The pair sealed the deal in front of 240 friends and family, Tiesha in a beautiful lace mermaid gown from Parvani Vida, with a gorgeous boho chic wedding designed and decorated by Plants N’ Petals. The Houston floral firm brought Tiesha’s vision of vivid hues and flower crowns to life. “I wanted to use bright colors for the flower arrangements and not the typical ‘wedding colors,'” the bride says. “We both agreed bright colors matched our relationship and vivid personalities so we wanted to incorporate that in our wedding.” In addition to the fabulous decor, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed delicious offerings from Houston’s Café Natalie Catering which included chicken parmesan, salmon, roasted vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. After a night of dancing and fun, the festivities ended off with an incredible fireworks display. “Our wedding was everything we wanted and more, truly a blessing from God and a dream come true!”
