The Wedding Décor
The wedding theme begins with adorable yet classy floral-inspired wedding invitations by Bering’s. Then, the vibrant color palette of fuchsia, purple, blush pink, and gold, beautifully crafted by the team at Mod Effect Events, stuns at the recently renovated Hyatt in the heart of the city. This luxurious hotel is the ultimate setting for your modern wedding! Our styled shoot is set in the hotel’s garden and makes for a classy cocktail hour or small reception. Plus, the breathtaking city views provide a picture-perfect backdrop for guests and newlyweds alike.
There’s not a ton of time for med students to just…chill. But Michelle and Stephen made the most of theirs, spent watching “bad reality TV,” but doing something extraordinary: They fell in love. What started as a down-time friendship, blossomed into a forever bond, sealed by Stephen’s quiet, intimate proposal during a lakeside walk. The pair didn’t have tons of free time, either, to spend on designing the wedding of their dreams. THAT was handled by the expert floral artists at League City’s Haute Flowers & Events, who fulfilled Michelle’s fantasy of a “garden-themed, magical wedding, filled with tones of blush pink, gold and green.” Infused with light, fresh springtime touches everywhere, and, most of all, love, the couple’s country club wedding was both simple and splendid, and we are SO happy to share it with y’all here! “It all started with a watermelon ring pop…” That’s the story Kayley and Tyler likely are gonna tell their kids one day. And it’s the one we’re telling y’all, right here, right now! Click here to read the rest of this post »
WEDDINGS IN HOUSTON SPRING 2015 | REAL WEDDING FEATURE
Crystle & Max ~ August 9, 2014
It would be hard to top Max’s proposal to Crystle for sheer romance: The Belgian-born model alighted with his beloved from a chartered helicopter, then surprised the former Miss USA (2008) with his down-on-one-knee question in front of giddy friends and family dressed in T-shirts reading, “True Love is Crystle Clear.” Yet the couple’s summer wedding did manage to take romance to a whole new level, with a lavish 320-guest celebration set at castle-like Chateau Cocomar. Fittingly, the bride, who currently stars in OWN Network’s Tyler Perry sitcom “For Better or Worse,” was the very picture of a fairytale princess in her Lazaro gown and sparkling updo. And she has special praise for those who brought her regal fantasy to life: “The entire event was coordinated by [venue owner] Karen Martin and the Cocomar ladies,” Crystle notes. “They planned and executed together a tremendously awesome event that will forever be remembered!”
