Man\u2019s best friend\u2026or man\u2019s best proposal ruse? You be the judge! Houston bride Kay explains: \u201cWe were out walking our Great Dane Nali like we usually do in the evenings, when she started getting into something in the grass. Nate made me worry and was saying, \u2018What does she have?\u2019 but it was dark so it was hard to tell. When she finally \u2018dropped\u2019 it, I still couldn’t make out what it was, so I was poking at this thing on the ground\u2026which turned out to be a ring box! I fell to my knees and started crying\u2014not your typical dog walk!\u201d Sweet Nali the Great Dane made yet another appearance in Kay and Nate\u2019s love story, as ring-bearer at their spring wedding at Briscoe Manor<\/a>. Here\u2019s a glimpse at the festivities, in the bride\u2019s words: \u201cOur first dance was to Ray LaMontange\u2019s \u2018Hold You in My Arms,\u2019 followed by a father-daughter dance to \u2018My Girl\u201d by The Temptations. Then came a surprise mother-son dance from Nate, who had practiced the dance from \u2018Pulp Fiction\u2019 with his mom! That was quite the treat considering Nate isn’t much of a dancer, especially when all eyes are on him. After lots of food including a phenomenal brownie bar, breaking it down to the Harlem shake, a bouquet toss to Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s \u2018All The Single Ladies\u2019 and a garter toss with Nate\u2019s 80-something-year-old uncle diving for the garter, we wrapped things up with a fireworks show and departed into a classic Rolls-Royce to Hotel ZaZa<\/a> for the night!\u201d We are loving Lindsay Elizabeth\u2019s<\/a> joyful photos of this warm and wonderful Houston wedding.
