Imagine discovering that your boyfriend\u2019s mother had known your mother before either of you were born\u2014and had even babysat for you while you were itty-bitty! It\u2019s the sort of small-world coincidence that makes you think some things\u2014Emily and Brian\u2019s true love, for instance\u2014are just fated<\/em> to be. For the couple\u2019s spring wedding, Emily wanted to honor tradition\u2026but she also wanted some super-chic modern flare, to go along with Hotel ZaZa\u2019s<\/a> hot new 11th<\/sup>-floor Grapevine Room. \u201cSticking with that I choose charcoal gray as our main color and accented it with pale pinks and creams for a romantic touch,\u201d she tells us. There\u2019s so much we love about this effortlessly elegant wedding, from the bride\u2019s handmade \u201cMr.\u201d and \u201cMrs.\u201d chair signs (\u201cI highly recommend doing this if you’re crafty and want something unique\u2026and it was fun!\u201d), to the subtly metallic linens, to the fresh and feminine Blooming Gallery<\/a> floral arrangements, to the ridiculously pretty pink-bow wedding cake from Edible Designs by Jessie<\/a>.
