Ren\u00e9e and Jerry first crossed paths on a dating app while both living in Houston. She was in dental school at UT Houston, and he was in his surgery residency. After chatting for a while, Ren\u00e9e met Jerry for coffee, and they ended up talking for two hours, forming an instant connection. They continued meeting for breakfast after his night shifts, and their relationship officially began at her dental school prom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After dating for some time, Ren\u00e9e planned to take graduation photos with her friends at Hermann Park. As everyone lined up for a group shot, she suddenly noticed that everyone had disappeared. When she turned around, she was stunned to see Jerry on one knee. Overjoyed, Ren\u00e9e said yes, and the couple celebrated with a special dinner. But the surprises weren\u2019t over yet, Jerry then insisted they stop by her parents\u2019 house, where a second surprise awaited. Inside, the house was filled with friends and family, all gathered to celebrate Ren\u00e9e and Jerry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In February 2025, Ren\u00e9e and Jerry celebrated their love with a dreamy yellow outdoor wedding. Before walking down the aisle, they shared a private first look and exchanged vows just a few blocks from where she grew up, making the moment even more meaningful. The reception that followed overflowed with lush florals and delectable cuisine catered by Caf\u00e9 Natalie<\/a>. A few months before the wedding, Ren\u00e9e\u2019s mom passed away, yet her presence was deeply felt; she had helped choose the wedding dress and bands, allowing her to be part of the day in a meaningful way. \u201cOur wedding day was special because it felt like both a celebration of our love and also of her memory,\u201d the bride shares. The celebration concluded with a grand exit, capping off a truly unforgettable day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
