Roshni and Parth crossed paths on Hinge after Roshni moved to Houston to jumpstart her dating life. They went on a date and felt an instant connection. Over several months, they explored all of Houston, including its food scene, baseball games, the rodeo, and many other adventures. It was when Roshni\u2019s dog got sick and Parth helped care for him that everything changed, \u201cI appreciated him so much and knew at that moment that he was the one for me,\u201d the bride says. After that, everything fell into place.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having dated for some time, Roshni and Parth took their first trip together to Peru. Roshni wanted it to be special, so she had a professional photographer take photos of her and Parth. They were escorted by hotel staff to a private dinner with their own wait staff and romantic music. Later in the dinner, the staff brought a glass jar and revealed the ring on top of rose petals. \u201cWe cried and laughed, it was perfect in every way,\u201d the bride says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In May 2024, Roshni and Parth celebrated their love with a joyful three-day wedding weekend at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa<\/a>. This Indian wedding honored tradition, and leading up to the big day, they included a wedding newspaper, welcome hampers, and even made a few podcast episodes for their guests to add a personal touch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The festivities began the day before the wedding with a colorful Haldi and Mehndi, followed by a lively Sangeet featuring choreographed dances that set the tone for the weekend. \u201cAs a trained Bharatanatyam Dancer myself, I knew I wanted to dance at my wedding, but I also wanted to include all of our family and friends,\u201d the bride says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before Roshni walked down the aisle, her beloved dog rode in a tiny car, a cute throwback to the role he played at the start of their relationship. As Roshni entered, a pre-recorded message she had prepared played for Parth, bringing tears to his eyes. \u201cGrowing up in America, I always dreamed of a white wedding. However, I am well rooted with my Indian heritage and wanted to be a traditional bride,\u201d the bride says. Her self-designed lehenga incorporated heirloom diamonds from her late mother, adding a deeply personal touch. The celebration concluded with a vibrant reception filled with even more choreographed dances and joyful music, making it a weekend to remember.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
