In 2013, Casey and John’s story began when they met at work. What started as a chance encounter quickly evolved into a deep friendship rooted in shared interests. Their connection only strengthened over time as they bonded over their mutual love for food, travel, and adventure. From sushi dates to country line dancing, and adopting their beloved dog, Mongo, their journey took on a new meaning when they made the leap to live abroad together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While living overseas in Trinidad and Tobago, John planned the perfect proposal during a romantic getaway. As the sun dipped into cotton-candy hues and family surrounded, he asked Casey to spend forever by his side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On October 12th, Casey and John returned to Houston, the city where their story began, to say “I do.” With a backdrop of open skies and heartfelt vows, their al fresco ceremony was both emotional and elegant. Dressed in his tiny tuxedo, Mongo stole hearts as he trotted down the aisle. Every moment, from getting ready to their first kiss as newlyweds, was beautifully captured by Elizabeth B Photography<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guests were welcomed into a glowing reception adorned in white, black, emerald green, and gold. Bud vases of white roses, taper candles, and a canopy of greenery and twinkling string lights created a romantic atmosphere. The evening unfolded with dancing, heartfelt toasts, and unforgettable memories. “It was the most special day of our lives, the bride shares, “but no moment compares to the moment when we said ‘I do.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
