Erum and Usman’s love story began in Austin, Texas, where mutual friends brought them together. A friendly encounter quickly became a deep connection, setting the stage for an extraordinary story.<\/p>\n

Four years after that unforgettable encounter, Usman proposed to Erum on the very anniversary of their first connection. Revisiting where it all began, Usman asked Erum to spend forever with him. Once again, with Austin as their backdrop, the proposal was as meaningful as their love story.<\/p>\n

On September 16, 2023, Erum and Usman held their wedding day at The Houstonian Hotel, Club and Spa<\/a>. The couple exchanged vows at a grand South Asian wedding, surrounded by family and friends. Dressed in traditional attire, Erum and Usman embraced the beauty of their cultural heritage, highlighted by a pastel color scheme that brought elegance and charm to the ceremony.<\/p>\n

Following the ceremony, the couple hosted an opulent ballroom reception decorated in soft pastel tones and gold accents. Usman swapped his traditional attire for a sophisticated white tuxedo while the venue transformed into a grand setting filled with lush floral arrangements and hanging installations. One of the highlights from the evening was a five-tier white wedding cake crafted by Susie’s Cakes<\/a>. The elegant design featured delicate white and blush roses and baby’s breath.<\/p>\n

Erum and Usman’s South Asian wedding was filled with laughter, tradition and dancing. The bride fondly recalls seeing the groom and the ballroom for the first time, a special moment from their big day. <\/p>\n
