Hannah and Josh first crossed paths in Kindergarten but only sparked a romantic connection during their sophomore year of high school. Their relationship flourished despite the challenges of a long-distance romance throughout college, culminating in a joyful reunion in Houston after their graduation.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Celebrating a decade together, Josh orchestrated a picturesque proposal on a downtown Houston rooftop adorned with rose petals, candles, a bouquet of peonies, and, of course, an engagement ring. Hannah recalls it as “the perfect intimate proposal.”<\/p>\n

Their love story culminated in a heartfelt wedding in downtown Houston on February 3, 2024. The couple chose a traditional Catholic ceremony and decided to save their first look for the moment Hannah walked down the aisle. The bride shares, “It was such a special moment to have my mom and dad walk me down the aisle toward my best friend and seeing Josh cry as he saw me for the first time in my wedding dress.”<\/p>\n

Post-ceremony, the newlyweds traveled in a vintage 1960 Bentley S2 to their romantic reception at Hotel ICON<\/a>. The historic ballroom was transformed with white florals, soft candlelight, and elegant stationery from Bering’s<\/a>. Their simple yet impressive 5-tier white wedding cake from Cakes by Gina<\/a> stood as a centerpiece. A highlight of the evening was their first dance to Frankie Valli’s “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” a moment filled with love. Embracing their diverse heritages, the celebration included mariachi music honoring Hannah’s Hispanic background and a Second Line dance reflecting Josh’s New Orleans roots.<\/p>\n

“Our wedding day was the perfect celebration of a love that has endured over a decade,” the bride reflects. “The ceremony and reception were a heartfelt testament to our journey from innocent kindergarten friends to soulmates destined to spend eternity together.”<\/p>\n
