Kendal and Hunter’s love story began during their high school years. The spark ignited when Kendal daringly sent her phone number through Twitter DMs, setting the stage for a modern romance. Their connection blossomed from their first date at a local Chick-fil-A, marking the start of an inseparable journey together.<\/span><\/p>\n

The proposal was as picturesque as it was surprising. Under the guise of a Christmas card photo shoot, complete with matching outfits and their beloved pet, Hunter planned the perfect moment to ask Kendal to marry him. Amidst the festive backdrop, he got down on one knee and proposed, turning a staged photo into a beautiful milestone. <\/span><\/p>\n

On July 15, 2023, the couple chose Houston’s historic Saint Arnold Brewing Company<\/a> for their wedding day celebrations. Prior to the ceremony, they shared a private moment for their first look and exchanged heartfelt vows. “It was so intimate with just us two and was comforting for us with how hectic everything is the day of the wedding,” the bride says. The ceremony in the brewery’s German-inspired Beer Hall encapsulated elegance and intimacy. <\/span><\/p>\n

The reception unfolded in a chic display of terracotta, tan, gold, white <\/span>and<\/span> sage green, enriching the charm of Saint Arnold Brewery’s hand-crafted tables with lush greenery and roses. The newlyweds enjoyed breathtaking views of the Houston skyline from the venue’s rooftop, adding a touch of urban elegance to their wedding day. Kendal and Hunter danced with their closest friends and family as the night fell. The couple’s wedding day concluded with a private last dance and a joyful and festive send-off, sealing their intimate wedding day in the city.<\/span><\/p>\n
