Fate united theater lovers Mindy and Nico in their undergraduate years, and their friendship deepened to love. After an eager anticipated Renaissance Faire date, the couple wasted no time embracing their love story.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Nico popped the question with a sweet and simple proposal in the living room of the couple’s first apartment. Mindy agreed on one condition: “I’ll say yes if we can get three cats and a dog,” the bride replied.<\/p>\n

Before the couple’s wedding ceremony, Mindy and Nico honored Vietnamese traditions with an intimate tea ceremony at Mindy’s family home. “Starting with this ceremony helped to ground the day in true celebration, with deep ties to the roots of both families,” the bride says.<\/p>\n

On December 30, 2022, the couple pledged their love amid an enchanted forest brought to life with lush greenery, white florals and earth-toned hues. Mindy glided down the aisle in a romantic Pronovias gown to meet her groom.<\/p>\n

After the couple’s nuptials, guests traveled to The Astorian<\/a> to raise a glass with the newlyweds at a Broadway-styled reception. Dramatic blooms, floral-infused candelabras and black and gold accents embellished the NYC-inspired reception space. Susie’s Cakes<\/a> designed a five-tier confection adorned in hand-painted florals, perfectly tying in this bloom-filled affair.<\/p>\n
