Samreen and Ahmed met by chance at an airport in 2021. They were both headed to the same faraway place, even though they came from different worlds. Samreen was a city girl from Houston, and Ahmed was a small-town guy from Massachusetts. After hitting it off in the airport, the couple’s love story continued, leading to their fun New York City engagement session and gorgeous coastal, pastel wedding.  <\/p>\n

On April 30, 2023, the couple wed at Galveston’s storied Grand Galvez<\/a>. With the Gulf as their backdrop, Samreen and Ahmed exchanged vows al fresco on the hotel’s Centennial Green. Pastel hues brought soft and dreamy beauty to the coastal setting. The bride says, “Our wedding day was an absolute fairytale. The pastels and scenery were my ethereal floral dreams.” Adding a playful twist, the couple’s ring bearer rode down the mirrored aisle in a stylish mini Mercedes.<\/p>\n

After becoming husband and wife, the newlyweds dined in the historic Music Hall before dancing the night away. Details like their custom dance floor, audio guestbook, coffee and boba bar, and photo booth amplified the romance. The bride says, “It truly was a wedding day bliss.” Guests sent the couple off with bubbles and a Ferrari exit.<\/p>\n
