Laurel and Will first connected back in 2016 in Minneapolis on Tinder. The pair met up for drinks and immediately hit it off. During one of their first vacations as a couple in Hawaii, Laurel received the life-changing call to be a contestant on her favorite reality TV show, “Survivor.” Knowing it would cut their trip short, supportive Will encouraged Laurel to seize the opportunity, where she placed third overall!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

After getting Laurel’s parents’ blessing, Will planned the most perfect and romantic proposal for Laurel while on another Hawaiian vacation. Laurel was completely surprised and unaware of Will’s intent to pop the question. Of course, Laurel said yes! The newly-engaged couple celebrated with champagne, poke bowls and joyful tears while watching the sunset together over the glistening waters.<\/p>\n

On October 1, 2022, Laurel and Will exchanged vows with an intimate alfresco ceremony surrounded by their loved ones at the Royal Oaks Country Club.<\/a> The couple chose a classic color palette of black, gold and white for their d\u00e9cor and blooming floral arrangements.<\/p>\n

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with sentimental details reflecting the couple’s relationship. Custom cocktail napkins featured their beloved fur baby, and a caricature artist captured portraits of family and friends. Many of Laurel’s castmates from Survivor were in attendance to celebrate the newlywed’s special day. A special moment from the couple’s wedding day was Laurel’s gift to Will – a custom song about their love story.<\/p>\n

The joyous occasion concluded with the couple’s sparkling grand exit before jetting off on their tropical honeymoon to Aruba.<\/p>\n
