Kristina and Charlie’s love story started at a Houston fitness group, Camp Gladiator Boot Camp. Charlie would strategically place his mat next to Kristina’s every week. Despite doing this for several classes, he had yet to speak to her. Finally, Kristina gathered the courage to say hello, and the rest is history.<\/p>\n

Fast forward three years later, after traveling, meeting each other’s families, and falling deeply in love, Charlie surprised Kristina with a proposal during a romantic weekend in Austin. Little did she know, Charlie had hired a photographer to capture the moment and planned a surprise engagement party with friends and family, who had flown in from different states. The bride says, “We spent the night celebrating and being surrounded by our favorite people.”<\/p>\n

Kristina and Charlie wed in a traditional church ceremony on April 28, 2022, surrounded by friends and loved ones. Bride says, “My family is from Venezuela and Charlie’s family is from Dallas. It was special to combine both of our family backgrounds to our wedding – at the ceremony, we had one member from Charlie’s family read a Psalm in English and I had a family member read another in Spanish.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

After saying “I Do”, the couple celebrated with a lively reception decorated with sage and white florals, warm candlelight and classic decor. The bride and groom danced the night away to Jonny Black Productions<\/a> who played a blend of Texas country and Reggaeton music as a nod to the couple’s backgrounds. After a grand sparkler exit, the newlyweds jetted off to Punta Cana for a romantic honeymoon.<\/p>\n
