Also because there\u2019s often a big gap between what a bride envisions for her wedding, and what she\u2019s able, practically speaking, to achieve. Which can lead to stress and disappointment, which are two words we do NOT believe should be associated with one\u2019s wedding day. Ever.<\/p>\n<p>Well, every once in a while, a wedding comes along that makes us think, \u201cWow, DIY done RIGHT.\u201d Jana and Buddy\u2019s wildly beautiful fete at Wimberley\u2019s Red Corral Ranch, magnificently photographed by HWB fave <a title=\"Sarah Ainsworth Photography\" href=\"https:\/\/www.weddingsinhouston.com\/Professionals\/wedding_photography\/sarah_ainsworth_photography.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Sarah Ainsworth<\/a>, is just such a wedding. Coordinated, with a minimum of stress, by Jana\u2019s talented mother and sister, this wedding manages to take a variety of references\u2014Victorian, 1950s, Western, indie-hip\u2014and blend them seamlessly, with little fuss, and much fabulousness. Everything\u2014from the bride\u2019s floral-and-pheasant-feather belt to the maids\u2019 darling blue frocks to the mix-n-match table runners to the homemade pies to the live peacock\u2014is of a piece, in this wedding that just seems to have Texas deep in its heart.
