For Kristi and Will, it was love at first swipe. After matching on Hinge, the couple met for their first date on October 1, 2015 at West Alabama Ice House. As Kristi and Will started dating, she fell in love with his kindness and he adored her sense of humor. Then, four years after they met\u2014and in the exact spot in the parking lot where they first saw each other\u2014Will asked Kristi to marry him. Just over a year later, the couple tied the knot during this charming lilac and ivory wedding.<\/p>\n

Kristi and Will\u2019s ceremony was so romantic! Before the couple\u2019s 50 closest family and friends joined them on beautiful Lake Travis in Austin, Texas for the waterfront nuptials, Will fell head over heels for his soon-to-be bride all over again during the first look. Kristi\u2019s bridal style was so elegant with a half updo full of curls, her gorgeous lace wedding dress, and her lush, full bouquet by Malleret Designs<\/a>! The bridal bouquet was stunning, featuring ivory and mauve roses with vibrant pops of lilac amid trendy eucalyptus sprigs.<\/p>\n

A Romantic Waterfront Wedding<\/h4>\n

After the first look, the couple married under an outdoor arbor. Natural greenery crept up the white iron canopy with Lake Travis in the background. On each side of the bride and groom, two large wedding floral arrangements in lilac and ivory complemented the bridal bouquet. The florals cascaded from long stem vases resting atop white columns. The lush florals and design by Malleret Designs continued into the reception hall. The dinner tables featured lilac table runners accented with arrangements in the couple\u2019s wedding colors. And enormous mauve roses matching those in the bouquet added a hint of color to the bride\u2019s traditional three-tiered wedding cake. Will on the other hand opted for a bold groom\u2019s cake repping his favorite teams: The Houston Astros and Texans.<\/p>\n

After enjoying the tasty cakes, the newlyweds and their guests hit the dance floor. \u201cDancing with all our friends and family was one of our favorite moments from our wedding day,\u201d explained Kristi. And at the end of the night, Kristi and Will departed under a canopy of sparklers held by their guests.<\/p>\n
