It was love at first swipe for Destinee, a lawyer, and Matt, a landman, after matching on Bumble and feeling an instant connection when they officially met on their first date.\u00a0“Our first date was full of laughter, chemistry, and mostly nerves,” recalls Destinee. “Within just a few weeks we were inseparable and have been ever since.”\u00a0<\/span>In July of 2018, a trip to Seattle to\u00a0commemorate Destinee passing the Texas State Bar exam became a celebration in more ways than one when Matt\u00a0proposed and asked Destinee to spend the rest of their lives together. Just a few months after Destinee and Matt got engaged they faced the greatest obstacle but also the biggest blessing while planning their wedding…a beautiful baby girl!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For their winter wedding at elegant St. Anthony Hotel<\/a>\u00a0a beautiful palette of burgundy, blush, ivory and gold was chosen to set a romantic tone.\u00a0<\/span>“The St. Anthony has everything you could ever want in a wedding venue,” says Destinee. “From the gorgeous chandeliers in the Peraux Ballroom to the one of a kind Peacock Alley, the St. Anthony has the most amazing and gorgeous details.” The couple tied the knot with their adorable baby girl being escorted down the aisle in a white carriage. The reception decor was classic and elegant, featuring timeless white linens, floral centerpieces and glittering chandeliers.\u00a0<\/span>Says the bride: “Every detail from the flowers, to the gold accents, the music and the candles were specifically designed to enrich the classic vibe of the St. Anthony, and that is exactly what it did.”\u00a0<\/span>For Destinee, her most cherished moments of the night included: “Sneaking out to the rooftop with my husband and our photographer to take night-time photos with the San Antonio skyline. The final dance of the night was shared between myself, my husband, and my daughter. Spending those few moments together on the dance floor before the end of the evening is something I will always cherish.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
