Amanda and Andrew met in 2012 while attending a Texas Christian University football game where they both went to school.\u00a0Fast-track to six years later: While on a trip in New York City, Amanda’s favorite city, Andrew arranged a surprise of a lifetime during a carriage ride through Central Park…a proposal!<\/p>\n

For their summer wedding,\u00a0the couple chose the modern and sophisticated\u00a0Hotel ZaZa Memorial City<\/a>\u00a0as their wedding venue: “Hotel ZaZa was amazing to work with!” says the bride.\u00a0Amanda and Andrew tied the knot in a traditional Jewish ceremony beneath a gorgeous chuppah adorned with fresh white flowers,\u00a0beautifully designed by\u00a0Plants N’ Petals<\/a>. For their ballroom reception,\u00a0“The theme was modern with black, white and metallic highlights,” featuring\u00a0lush floral centerpieces, chic black tablecloths and\u00a0oversized crystal chandeliers, all anchored by a gleaming black and white dance floor with dramatic uplighting. Guests indulged in a six-tier\u00a0amaretto cake with white buttercream frosting and a cookies and cream groom’s cake in the shape of Texas with the TCU logo, both from Cakes by Gina<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span>The joyous newlyweds enjoyed a confetti send-off through Hotel ZaZa before joining their guests at their “Happily Ever After Party” where a DJ, lounge furniture, glow-in-the-dark crowns and necklaces, and after-party drinks and eats awaited them.<\/p>\n
