We partied with them at Bering’s<\/a> for their registry and stationery adventure<\/a>, we chatted with them about their love story,\u00a0and now we are excited to welcome Astro star reliever Ryan Pressly and former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Kat Rogers back to the blog…this time with their beautiful New Year’s Eve wedding!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Kat and Ryan tied the knot on New Year’s Eve in a romantic outdoor ceremony beneath golden lights for an “under the stars type-of-feel.” The couple joined 210 loved ones\u00a0for a grand reception meal in the dinner tent where the ceilings were lined with lush greenery and filled with glittering chandeliers. Following dinner, the couple and their guests moved to\u00a0the reception tent, adequately named “Club Pressly,” to celebrate the newlyweds and have a surprise visit from the Astros mascot, Orbit! As a wedding tradition, Kat and her fellow Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders delighted guests by performing a choreographed\u00a0dance to “Thunderstruck.”<\/p>\n

At the stroke of midnight, the couple commemorated the new year as husband and wife with a firework show and one last dance before making their grand exit under an arc of gold sparklers. Of their New Year’s Eve wedding, Kat says the biggest challenge was “trying to finalize all of the wedding details while the groom was playing in the World Series!” Favorite moments for the bride included, “Walking down the aisle with my dad, our last dance, the fireworks display, and getting to perform with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders one last time.”<\/p>\n
