We\u2019re so happy to wish Winnie Chlomin, and her beloved bridal design house Winnie Couture<\/a>, a very happy 10th<\/sup> anniversary. That\u2019s ten years of stunning gowns, ten years of beautiful brides, ten years of success that all started right here in Houston, with Winnie Couture\u2019s flagship salon.<\/p>\n

She may have branched out to Beverly Hills\u2014with, incidentally, one of the loveliest stores around in a town full of high-glam bridal salons and high-profile clients. And, of course, there\u2019s Winnie Couture\u2019s many star turns on wedding TV, including \u201cMy Fair Wedding,\u201d \u201cBridalplasty\u201d and, coming up later this month, the CW\u2019s \u201cShedding for the Wedding.\u201d But through it all, Winnie has stayed true to her Houston brides, whom she calls \u201cchic, confident and fun,\u201d not to mention fashion savvy and very discerning when it comes to wedding attire (but then, you knew that, didn\u2019t ya?).<\/p>\n

What else is new for Winnie Couture in 2011? \u201cThis season<\/a> is all about romantic and whimsical styles,\u201d the designer says. Look for \u201clight, flowing fabrics with layers of ruffles and tulle,\u201d plus \u201cdelicate dreamy rosettes with glints of sparkle\u201d that evoke \u201cglamour in a fresh, organic way.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2026and, cue the collective swoon.<\/p>\n
