Oddly enough, Lexie and Andy never crossed paths despite years of hanging out at the same restaurants, bars…even in the same volleyball league. But all that changed when a night out to watch a football game became a four-hour-long date. It wasn’t long before Andy realized he’d found something special with Lexie. Knowing her love of books, Andy presented the unsuspecting Lexie with a book to “read” the night before the two embarked on a family cruise. Flipping to the last page, an unsuspecting Lexie found a beautiful diamond ring, and took her first step on the path to forever love. The couple selected\u00a0The Parador,\u00a0a historic Houston wedding venue, for a wedding that mixed Jewish and Catholic traditions. “With one of us being raised Jewish and the other Catholic, we blended some traditions of each, but rather than a religious ceremony, it was more nondenominational, more spiritual and personal,” notes the bride. After the ceremony, the mother of the bride sang a classic song from the Broadway musical “Fiddler On The Roof,”\u00a0then Lexie’s sister and one of her bridesmaids performed a personalized rap set to\u00a0 the theme song from “The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air.” During a lively rendition of the Hora, friends and family\u00a0lifted\u00a0Lexie and Andy high in the air, bringing the celebration to a crescendo.\u00a0Best wishes to this pair for a fun-filled future together!<\/p>\n
