Asmita and Rishab kicked off the New Year with a marriage celebration that\u00a0perfectly captured the couple\u2019s exuberant personalities and Hindu culture. Asmita says it was their \u201cshared love of music and dancing\u201d that initially attracted her to Rishab, and vice versa, which they certainly expressed on their wedding day!<\/p>\n

The night began with a lively sangeet, which Asmita says was \u201ca very cool way to kick off the celebration, with killer dance performances by both sides of the family, mehndi artists and a selfie station.\u201d<\/p>\n

For their Hindu ceremony and reception celebration at\u00a0The Corinthian<\/a>, downtown Houston’s magnificent neoclassical event space, the couple selected a palette of bright plum and burgundy, brought to life with blooms by Darryl & Co.<\/a>\u00a0The couple\u2019s 350 guests then enjoyed\u00a0a wedding feast by renowned\u00a0Jackson and Company <\/a>\u00a0catering,\u00a0and later joined the newlyweds for a lavish party\u00a0filled with live music and dancing that lasted until 1:30 a.m.<\/p>\n
