It was a typical\u00a0rainy day in Houston, but they didn\u2019t let the wet weather ruin\u00a0their fun. \u201cWe talked for hours, nibbled on some tasty food, and the rest was history,\u201d recounts Rob. He knew in his heart this was <em>it<\/em>. \u201cI planned an elaborate plan to surprise Nathan with a trip to San Francisco for his 30<sup>th<\/sup> birthday. We spent\u00a0the next few days taking wine tours and soaking in the beauty of the California coast with our closest friends, who had joined us.&#8221; On the way back\u00a0to the city, the couple\u00a0pulled over to take a photo of the Golden Gate Bridge. \u201cI pulled Nathan aside to express how sorry I was that I never bought him anything for his birthday, and asked him to give me more time,\u201d says Rob. <em>Little did he Nathan\u00a0what was coming next! <\/em>Rob\u00a0pulled out the ring, got down on one knee and asked Nathan\u00a0to marry him. The pair celebrated their wedding\u00a0with their closest family and friends at a beautiful Hill Country ranch, where rough-hewn benches and white rose petals set the tone for the outdoor wedding ceremony, and\u00a0accents of succulents and fresh greenery filled the reception room, illuminated by\u00a0soft candlelight. <em>Sigh<\/em>.
