Kelly and Tom met at work, just across the hall from each other. So let\u2019s set the picture here: These two peeking across the hallway\u2014anxious to see one another, butterflies fluttering. After many group outings, Tom finally asked Kelly out officially.<\/em> Kelly remembers their first date like it was yesterday; laughing, talking, and Tom\u2019s incredibly fun personality. You know how they say that travel is the true test of compatibility?\u00a0Well, these two passed that<\/em> test with flying\u00a0colors! Of\u00a0all the traveling they did, Kelly was most excited to experience Brazil, where Tom spent his childhood. And Tom couldn\u2019t wait to share her <\/em>with his home\u2014especially with the family and friends he hadn\u2019t seen in over 10\u00a0years! Little did Kelly know that\u00a0Tom had asked Kelly\u2019s family for her hand in marriage prior to the couple’s\u00a0South American sojourn. And what a proposal it was! In the beautiful white-sand beach town of Buzios, Tom proposed to Kelly\u2026on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The couple recalls, \u201cWe followed a few days later with a lot of celebrating with friends that now mean so much to us both!\u201d Their wedding was a vision of sophistication and charm with hues of French blue, sage green, lavender and champagne\u2014all alluding to a picturesque French Country setting. We have no doubt that\u00a0Tom shed a tear or two when he saw Kelly walk down the aisle in her\u00a0stunning Rivini Gown from Mia Bridal Couture<\/a>. The couple’s\u00a0guests were just as in love with the wedding as Kelly and Tom are with each other. Kelly recounts that guests commented that the celebration was “more like a\u00a0movie or a dream, so intimate and gorgeous.\u201d Susie\u2019s Cakes & Confections<\/a>\u00a0offered up a perfect rendition of a French-inspired wedding cake, with\u00a0four tiers of decadent vanilla and raspberry sweetness that could seriously make you feel like you were\u00a0in Paris.
