How\u2019s THIS for a proposal story? \u201cIt was a night of reliving \u2018firsts\u2019\u2014a Rockets game (our first official meeting), dinner at Vic & Anthony’s (our first official date), drinks at Hotel Zaza<\/a>\u2026,\u201d says bride Brie Anna. \u201cOn a balcony overlooking the Museum District, he surprised me with a hand-drawn charcoal portrait of the two of us. The entire portrait was black and white, EXCEPT for a canary-yellow diamond engagement ring placed on my ring finger within the picture. My eyes were instantly drawn to the yellow image and I turned to find Craig down on one knee!\u201d The couple\u2019s December wedding, with its Catholic church ceremony and \u201clounge-feel\u201d Magnolia Hotel<\/a> reception\u2014\u201cNO traditional seating\u2014cocktail-style vignettes and comfortable couches,\u201d the bride recounts\u2014captured the festiveness of the season, as did the surprise \u201cflash mob\u201d organized for the groom!
