Tiny Pies Make Perfect Wedding Desserts

Photos: Tiny Pies

Amanda and her mom Kit have been baking together forever. And together they are the talents behind Tiny Pies, based in Austin. Their tiny pies are made from treasured family recipes with the highest quality natural ingredients, sourced from local farms whenever possible. They come in sweet (flavors like bourbon-buttermilk, cherry, pear-ginger, coconut cream and more) and savory (spinach-ricotta, potato-leek, etc.), they are made to be eaten without utensils, and they taste amazing hot or cold. We served ’em up in our I Do! Bridal Soiree swag bags. You can serve ’em up on your dessert display table, as take-home favors, at your bridal shower, as part of your hotel-room amenity basket for visiting guests, or whenever you want a satisfying, wholesome, tastebud-tickling mouthful o’ yumminess, handcrafted right here in the great state of Texas. Order online or pop into Revival Market in the Heights, or Central Market on Westheimer, for a (tiny) taste of heaven.

Glamour, Glimmer and Shades at Charcoal Gray & Pale Pink Wedding at Dukessa

Phillip and Krisella first met in Austin at a mutual friend’s baby shower. “He was late and the first thing out of my mouth after we were properly introduced was, ‘Hi. You’re late (with my big signature smile).’ It worked because we never stopped seeing each other from that day forward!” After a year of being inseparable, Phillip and Krisella decided to tie the knot. Krisella wore a gorgeous Maggie Sottero gown from Weddings by Debbie with stunning stacked diamond bracelets and teardrop diamond earrings to complete her Old Hollywood glam look. The room was filled with romantic low lights, and rose, anemone and hydrangea flower arrangements. We could go on and on about how beautiful this Houston wedding was at Dukessa, but we want YOU to fall in love with the photos as much as we did. Congrats and best wishes to the lovely couple!

Classic Ivory & Charcoal Crystal Ballroom Wedding by Ama Photography & Cinema

“I had a patient in the ER that needed massive transfusion of blood products. Andrew was working in the blood bank that night. We exchanged simple conversation but I couldn’t stop thinking about him. I messaged him on Facebook a few weeks later, basically asking for a date. He text messaged me the next morning and we’ve been together ever since,” says Houston bride Lenee. If you think their made-for-TV meet-cute is sweet (and verrry dramatic), just wait ’til you see the beautiful photos from their wedding at The Crystal Ballroom at the Rice taken by Aisha Khan from Ama Photography & Cinema! Congrats Lenee & Andrew on tying the knot!
