A Tinder connection sparked into true love for Breanna and John (…and then became fodder for a moment of comic relief during the best man’s speech at their wedding!). John, a baseball coach, brought Breanna, a flight attendant, to the East Coast for Christmas, 2016, and proceeded to propose to her at the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree…awww. Their winter engagement led, eventually, to a spring wedding at Gulf Coast lakefront venue Waters Edge, where the couple said their vows beneath a billowing canopy with the waters of Clear Lake as their backdrop. Accents of deep red and tons of greenery brought fun and vibrancy to the pair’s boho waterfront wedding…as did a super cool VW mobile photo booth! We wish all of our love to the newlyweds, and thank them for sharing their adorable Houston lakefront wedding with us…and with you! Click here to read the rest of this post »
If you’re a Houston Wedding Blog regular, y’all know how much we love it when a GROOM shares his wedding us…and Timothy is just such a groom! He tells us that he met his beloved Oralia at Tomball High School back in 2009, where, “I used to sell her candy and mix tapes in the hallway.” Awww… After attending college together, and falling head over heels in love, Timothy decided to pop the question with a down-on-one-knee December proposal in a “winter wonderland” scene he created, with accompaniment from John Legend’s “All of Me” playing in the background (if you’re not in love with this groom yet, you may want to check your romance meter to make sure it’s operating properly). For their midsummer nuptials, the pair picked Waters Edge, one of our absolute favorite waterfront venues, where they said their vows beside sparkling blue water, beneath a glittering chandelier, framed by billowing white chiffon. Post-vow festivities took the newlyweds and their nearest and dearest indoors, for a high-energy party, where live music, gourmet comfort food and a “draped” wedding cake from Susie’s Cakes & Confections ensure that a fabulous time was had by all. Thank you, Timothy, for sharing your love for Oralia with us and our readers!
