As a Baylor University student, Shannon met Chandler through All University Sing. He was the chair for Kappa Sigma and she was the chair for Kappa Kappa Gamma. The pair quickly bonded and became inseparable. “We had monthly meetings and always ended up sitting together and laughing throughout the whole thing,” recalls Shannon. Wishing to take their relationship to the next level, Chandler, with a bit of assistance from his dad, took Shannon out for a romantic evening flight over downtown Houston and the Trinity River. Oddly enough, Lexie and Andy never crossed paths despite years of hanging out at the same restaurants, bars…even in the same volleyball league. But all that changed when a night out to watch a football game became a four-hour-long date. It wasn’t long before Andy realized he’d found something special with Lexie. Knowing her love of books, Andy presented the unsuspecting Lexie with a book to “read” the night before the two embarked on a family cruise. There’s not a ton of time for med students to just…chill. But Michelle and Stephen made the most of theirs, spent watching “bad reality TV,” but doing something extraordinary: They fell in love. What started as a down-time friendship, blossomed into a forever bond, sealed by Stephen’s quiet, intimate proposal during a lakeside walk. The pair didn’t have tons of free time, either, to spend on designing the wedding of their dreams. THAT was handled by the expert floral artists at League City’s Haute Flowers & Events, who fulfilled Michelle’s fantasy of a “garden-themed, magical wedding, filled with tones of blush pink, gold and green.” Infused with light, fresh springtime touches everywhere, and, most of all, love, the couple’s country club wedding was both simple and splendid, and we are SO happy to share it with y’all here!
