OK, so we were going to kick off this post by gushing a bit about how truly fantastic our Oct. 7 I Do! Bridal Soiree at Hotel ZaZa was. But instead, we’ll let Houston bride Vanessa, who attended this year’s ZaZa show, tell you in her own words, which she emailed to us post-show:

“The event was amazing! There were great vendors, the presentation throughout was beautiful, and the staff at Hotel ZaZa was courteous. I loved the event because it was so much more personal than other events. I had the time to talk to vendors and I left knowing which ones I loved. Having food, Champagne, and wine was definitely a plus. It let my group relax and have fun. You nearly forget you’re at an event not a party! I have a few friends that are recently engaged and have already told them to sign up for the I Do! Bridal Soiree in January!”

2012 Bridal Runway: Bella Bridesmaid

We’ll be the first to admit, we’re on a bit of a b’maids kick this week—first with our bevy of vintage-inspired bridesmaid finds, and now with this lovely, frock-filled video clip of Bella Bridesmaid rocking the I Do! Bridal Soiree runway. And why shouldn’t we be? Our bridesmaids are our confidantes, accomplices, trusted advisors, shoulders to cry on and BFFs, but for REAL. Let’s all make sure they look smashing on our special day, shall we? It’s the least we can do for the best girls we know.

You came, you saw, you sipped, you swooned. And we could not have been more delighted to watch your happy faces as you indulged in the beauty of the April 26 I Do! Bridal Soiree at The Corinthian: The Manzanita-tree entrance by Plants ’n Petals? The ga-ga-gorgeous displays by Events in Bloom,Darryl & Co. and Village Flowery? The mingling models showing off gowns from Houston’s top salons? The splendid culinary stations by Jackson and Company (with nary a chafing dish in sight!)? Very special thanks to Boyd Bryan, director of The Corinthian, along with Jackson Hicks and the entire staff of Jackson and Company. Big thanks, too, to David Jones and Laura Burlton of D.
