Classic, Traditional, Blush, Green and Gold Houston Wedding at Chateau Cocomar

Looking absolutely gorgeous in her Lazaro gown, bride Corina wed handsome groom Eric in front of 130 of the couple’s nearest and dearest. And despite the heat of the summer day, Chateau Cocomar looked fresh and cool for the occasion, filled as it was with crisp linens, gorgeous blush and ivory flowers courtesy of Arteflora, and plenty of light-catching crystals. For all its elegant formality, this Houston couple’s wedding was also FUN, featuring dancing, sparklers, teddy bears…and a performance by none other than the bride herself! Red, White, Green and Black Olde Dobbin Station Wedding by The Silhouette Studio

Lifelong lovebirds Hannah and Evan made their dreams come true when they tied the knot this past July. Held at beloved country-chic venue Olde Dobbin Station, the couple’s wedding was “eclectic,” says Hannah. “We didn’t want it to be too much of any style. I tried my best to incorporate my husband’s modern and rustic styles with my love for typography and flowers.” For all its visual allure, Hannah says her favorite part of their wedding was “saying our vows.” She notes: “We had waited so long to be able to commit ourselves to each other. It was a dream-come-true.” With its bright pops of rich red, and its touches of vintage lace, homemade cookies and its delightful ceremony-backdrop chalkboard, this sweet Houston wedding is one of our faves of the summer. Lovely Texas Summer Seaside Wedding at Hotel Galvez

OK, major proposal cuteness: “Matt made me breakfast in bed to celebrate my job promotion. As we were toasting with Champagne, he picked up our puppy and placed him in my lap. When I looked down my ring was on the puppy’s bandana. I said, ‘Yes,’ cried and then we called everyone we knew to tell them we were moving to Dallas for my new job AND we were getting married!” Allison and her California cutie tied the knot at the Hotel Galvez in front of 100 beloved guests. A vibrant, summery wedding color palette of pink, orange and green played perfectly off the historic Galveston hotel’s backdrop of breezy whites and neutrals, and set the stage for a lively and lovely beach wedding. Green, Merlot and Bronze Bell Tower Wedding by Carlino’s Photography

It was the summer between 8^th and 9^th grade. She played bass clarinet, he played tuba. And after spending months at band camp having her feet stepped upon by Erick in marching-band practice, Erin “knew there was something special about him,” she tells us with a smile. The two made it official earlier this year with an elegant but high-energy celebration at The Bell Tower on 34^th, a site the bride describes as “an absolutely gorgeous venue—it has so much to offer for a wedding.” She notes, “My ceremony was pretty traditional except for the music. I hired someone to sing and play an acoustic guitar for before and during the ceremony. My bridesmaids walked in to ‘Only Hope’ by Switchfoot, I walked in to ‘Angel’ by Casting Crowns, and our unity-candle song was ‘1,000 Years’ by Christina Perri.” More music—country, pop, classic standards and Spanish songs—filled the rustic-elegant reception, where guests dined on BBQ and buttercream-frosted cake, and danced the night away. Moroccan Theme Sangeet and Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa Wedding with Moroccan, Vintage and Rustic-Chic Themes

On the 5^th anniversary of the beginning of their courtship, Ronak took Zena to Sonoma, Calif., to celebrate—and, unbeknownst to her—to propose. “During our visit to Pride Vineyard, he had a picnic set up with my favorite foods and during the picnic gave me a scrapbook documenting our five years together. The final page said ‘Happily Ever After?’ Once I got to that page, he got down on one knee and proposed. We spent the rest of the weekend at a wonderful resort in Napa Valley celebrating.” The celebrating continued at the couple’s multi-day Indian wedding, which kicked off with a mehndi party, followed by a Moroccan-theme sangeet at the St. Regis Hotel, and, finally a vintage-theme ceremony with a moss-covered, floral-draped altar, and lushly floral rustic-chic reception, both at The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa.
