Romantic Wedding at The Bell Tower on 34th

“I work very long and exhausting days as a registered nurse. I told Casey that sometimes when I have a bad day, I just want to come home from work and for him to propose to make it all better. Casey did just that. I came home from work one day to rose petals and candles scattered throughout our house. He made my favorite meal: steak, Fleming’s style mac and cheese, asparagus and salad. The ring box was sitting in a container of my favorite popcorn that Casey ordered specially for me from Chicago. It was the most perfect evening,” recounts bride Tara. And so was their wedding at the Bell Tower on 34^th. Tara and Casey described their wedding to be romantic, personal and fun for everyone to enjoy. The pair danced the night away with 240 of their nearest and dearest. The grandeur evening ended with late night bites from Whataburger (mmm…) for guests and a flutter fetti exit for the couple. Romantic Garden Wedding at Hotel Galvez

Daniel knew the moment he met Stephanie that there was something special about her; within a matter of months, the pair had become great friends. But when Stephanie moved to Mexico to study abroad, she assumed that she had “fallen off his radar,” and they lost touch. A few years later, when Stephanie was living in Houston as a teacher, the couple reconnected in a way that took Stephanie by surprise: “He would call and we would talk for hours,” recounts the bride. “So much time had passed that I was convinced we were going to pick up where we left off as friends, but I was wrong.” Turns out, Daniel had been in love with Stephanie all along, and was just waiting for the perfect opportunity to re-enter her life. The lovebirds tied the knot surrounded by 150 of their nearest and dearest in a beautiful garden ceremony at Hotel Galvez, followed by a romantic champagne brunch on the terrace. The day was made even more special by the presence of the bride’s father, a disabled Vietnam veteran, who was released from the hospital only days before the wedding: “My favorite moment was my dad walking me down the aisle as my mom held him up on his other side,” says Stephanie. “It was a true fairy tale—I married the man of my dreams and my dad was able to give me away.” We’re so happy for you, Daniel and Stephanie!

Moroccan-Inspired Wedding at The Bell Tower on 34th

Brittany’s vision of a Moroccan-inspired wedding came to life at The Bell Tower on 34^th. The rich color palette of fuchsia, purple, green and hints of orange incorporated in the flowers and décor added the perfect amount of sultry flair. Brittany and Ian wined and dined with 250 of their nearest and dearest with a lavish menu included lamb pops, crab cakes, prime rib and late night snacks. The candlelight dinner, live belly dancing performances and a camel photo op were just a few highlights of the night. Of course, it was only appropriate that Nadine Moon of Who Made The Cake! created a decadent 5-foot tall Moroccan plush pillow cake for the splendid occasion. Peach, Green & Gray Rustic Wedding

Amy and Elliot met at a July 4^th barbecue, instantly hit it off and the rest was history. The pair traveled to a private beach in Mexico to celebrate their one-year anniversary. Little did she know that he had planned the sweetest proposal on the last day of their romantic getaway. Needless to say, Amy said “yes”, and started planning their Spring wedding. Amy and Elliot envisioned an upscale-rustic wedding with personal touches. Lanterns, beautiful flowers by Blooms Design Studio, tea lights, and a seating chart (built by Amy’s brother and bridesmaid) were just a few of the simple details that brought their vision of an elegant, yet rustic wedding come to life. Having begun their courtship at the University of Georgia, it’s no surprise that Kelli and A.J. wanted their wedding to “feel like an elegant garden party at a Southern home.” As the bride describes, “The ambiance began with a drive up scenic River Oaks Blvd. with Houston’s most beautiful homes,” and continued with a gracious country-club setting, decorated with soft-pink peonies, mercury-glass votives, twinkle-lights and French armchairs. A reception menu filled with Southern favorites—fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, pulled-pork sliders—nourished guests for a night of dancing to live music. As the night progressed, guests enjoyed hand-rolled Cuban cigars on the starlit patio, and late-night chicken-and-waffle bites. Jo Ann Schwartz Woodward (of wedding consulting firm Schwartz & Woodward) was great at listening to our vision and implementing it flawlessly,” Kelli says. “It was truly the wedding of our dreams!”
