Vintage Blush and Gold Wedding at Ashton Gardens

Houston bride Tera first met her prince charming right around the corner- literally. Tera and Shawn lived in the same neighborhood, attended the same schools, and shared mutual friends. It wasn’t until he came back home from the Air Force 11 years later that they reunited at their best friend’s wedding. Tera and Shawn hit it off and the rest was history. The lovebirds celebrated with 80 of their nearest and dearest at one of Houston’s most unique wedding venues- Ashton Gardens. The romantic chandeliers and color palette of blush, cream and gold set the tone for their vintage wedding. Congrats and well wishes to the newlyweds!

Champagne and Coral Vintage Wedding, Houston

“This was by far the happiest and most perfect day of my life,” says Houston bride Megan. “My fairy tale wedding came true.” Nothing could delight us more…except, perhaps, getting to look at photos of Megan and James’ vintage-elegant wedding celebration, in shades of champagne, ivory and coral. Of course, at the heart of this lovely Texas wedding was the bride herself, radiant in her keyhole-back Watters bridal gown, gorgeous updo and birdcage veil, surrounded by bridesmaids in flowing coral. Beautiful Blush and Ivory Madera Estates Wedding by Ama Photography & Cinema

There’s a certain, special, sense-of-mystery romance that only online dating can create. Just ask recent bride Vanessa, who spoke by phone to eHarmony match Eric almost every day for THREE MONTHS before meeting him face-to-face. Luckily, their in-person meeting was just as romantic as those many, many phone calls, and almost two years to the day they first laid eyes on each other, the pair wed in front of 250 loved ones at a magnificent Madera Estates celebration. While Vanessa says that selecting her song list and making her seating chart were no piece of cake, the wedding itself was pure sweetness, done up in elegant shades of ivory and blush, Vanessa radiant in her Maggie Sottero gown from Brickhouse Bridal. Black, White and Silver Chateau Cocomar Wedding by DC Stanley Photography

The tailgate scene at the Sept. 8, 2012, Texas A&M vs. Florida game was pretty much the perfect spot for Chisholm’s marriage proposal to Samantha—after all, the A&M alums are both huge football fans. The pair’s Chateau Cocomar wedding, with its elegant palette of black, white and silver, was the very picture of elegance, but with plenty of laid-back, high-spirited fun. Samantha says she especially cherishes the wedding memory of “being sung to by my husband and all of his fraternity brothers.” Big thanks to DC Stanley Photography for the pretty pix of this utterly adorable Houston couple, and congrats to the newlyweds!
