Fall is here, and with it come new bridal trends. Designers bring both bold and understated elements to their new collections for the season, inviting every bride to find a trend suitable to her look. Whether you’re looking for an elegant pair of gloves or a corset with an edge, there’s something for everyone on this list.
Jordan and Thomas’ meeting was quite unlikely, but fate brought them together. The bride says, “I’m from Houston, and Thomas is from New York. A series of very coincidental events brought us together. We were supposed to meet right then and there.”
Three days after Jordan moved to Washington, D.C., Thomas needed another teammate for his softball league and asked Jordan to play, instantly hitting it off. The bride says, “After the game, we went to a grungy Capitol Hill bar with the team. He asked me if I wanted to play a song on the jukebox, and we found out we had a lot in common, including our taste in music. The rest is history.”
Caroline and Andrew became college sweethearts at Ole Miss before classes had even begun. The couple met at first-year orientation while all the students followed each other on Twitter. “I noticed Andrew had over 2,000 followers, which was a lot for a high school kid at the time. I asked him about it, and he said that he was kind of a big deal. I guess you could say he was right; he has been kind of a big deal in my life. After the best seven years of dating, I am so excited to finally be married to him,” the bride says.
Katie and Garrett’s story began when Katie’s parents moved to Pearland, TX. As fate would have it, Katie moved into the house behind Garrett in middle school, ultimately leading to dating in high school and staying together while attending Texas A&M. Katie told her family that she would marry him only weeks into dating Garrett.
