Tiffany had just gotten back from a trip to Chicago and was reveling in independence. Then Zach walked in late to a dinner with mutual friends, and a few Mario Kart games later, he was…smitten. Two years later, on a trip to New Orleans, Zach led an unsuspecting Tiffany on a stroll through the French Quarter, to Jackson Square. “When we got to the middle of the square, Zach stopped and pulled out a set of pictures,” Tiffany recounts. “Each picture of us had a letter on the back. We reminisced and talked about each of the memories, as I noticed the letters starting to spell out ‘Will You Marry Me?’ At the last picture, Zach got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. And of course, I SAID ‘YES!!!'” On a lovely spring day, the couple wed in front of 75 loved ones at The Gardens at Madeley Manor in Conroe. “For our decor and theme, we wanted something simple but elegant, that subtly highlighted both our cultures and would appear lighthearted and cute,” Tiffany says. “We enjoyed having an outdoor wedding ceremony, while having an indoor reception.” The couple wrote their own vows, and the bride surprised everyone with a children’s book telling the story of her relationship with Zach. These tender personal touches “filled the ceremony with giggles, laughs and tears,” the couple says.  Click here to read the rest of this post »

And on one fine spring day, at a castle-like Houston wedding venue, Lisa and Melbon both said “I do,” in front of 100 close friends and family members. Their wedding celebration, which incorporated the couple’s Caribbean, Portuguese and Indian cultures, surrounded gathered guests with beautiful, larger-than-life white, blush and peach flower arrangements and tons of candles, courtesy of Houston floral design firm Plants N’ Petals.
