Cathryn and Chuck first crossed paths in February 2020 while playing indoor volleyball. Cathryn, filling in for a teammate, immediately noticed Chuck. When she overheard someone trying to set him up with their roommate, she quickly invited him to the Rodeo Cook-off and asked for his number. Their connection was instant. They spent their first date dancing and tent-hopping at the cook-off. Cathryn had such a great time that she invited him back every night that week, and the rest is history.

Three years later, the couple planned a skiing trip to Breckenridge, Colorado, with close friends. On the first day of their trip, they ventured to Peak 6 for an adrenaline-fueled run through the snow-capped mountains. At the top, surrounded by breathtaking views and friends, Chuck dropped to one knee and proposed.

Under the soft spring sky, Cathryn and Chuck exchanged vows in a picturesque outdoor ceremony in Wimberley, Texas. A pastel floral arch framed the couple as they overlooked the rolling Texas Hill Country, with hues of light blue, peach, blush, and sage green blending into the landscape.

Following the heartfelt ceremony, guests gathered for a rustic reception adorned with long wooden family-style tables and blue accents. The newlyweds shared their first dance to ‘Speechless’ by Dan + Shay, choreographed by Andrea Cody of Wedding Dance Houston. “Halfway through the dance, we had the entire audience clapping, cheering and even standing,” the bride said.

After a lively group photo with family and friends, the dance floor came alive to an ABBA classic with a surprise saxophone performance. Cathryn later changed into a chic after-party dress as the couple danced the night away. The couple concluded their celebration with a sparkling grand exit.
